BROW TREND  | THE STRAIGHT BROW

Brow shapes come and go, but the next newest shape that clients are asking for is the latest ‘upgrade’ to the strong brow.  ”Clients are growing their brows in an effort to obtain that thick bold brow that will be the trend for the next few years. But for clients that already have the thick brow, they are going for a newer look to the thick brow, by going with the latest look, “The Straight Brow.”

Brow trends have ranged from super thin, to thick to now, the newest look, the straight brow. “Clients are actually coming in asking for the severe arch to be taken down and to create a stronger, more square brow. This brow shape is actually common on guys, but it definitely works on someone with a stronger bone structure.”

How it’s achieved:  Take off a few hairs at the top of the arch to flatten the brow on top, and remove a few rows of hairs on the bottom of the inner brow to remove the downward slope of the line of the brow from the arch to the nose.  This creates a straighter line and gives a boxy, square appearance to the brow, making  it stronger and more powerful.

All brow colors look good with the shape, but the brunettes are the ones that really carry it off.  ”The dark hair tresses tend to have the thicker brow shape because they have more hairs, so they are able to pull it off.  Blondes tend to have less brow hairs to begin with so it’s harder for them to grow in their brows because it takes longer.” says Ms. Von Freudenberg.  To achieve the new brow look, it’s always advisable to visit a trained licensed professional esthetician or waxing speicalist.

DIRECTIONS:

Safe enough for frequent use and is non-abrasive enough for everyday use. With our Brow Scrub sugar base, there is no need for a separate cleanser and a separate moisturizing product. Spreads easily over damp skin and dissolves in 1 minute to avoid overuse. Rinses cleanly.
• Cocos nucifera (Virgin Coconut) Oil: Excellent moisturizer for dry skin types, comparable to that of mineral oil, but with no adverse side effects on the skin. Prevents dryness and flaking, wrinkles, and sagging of skin. Virgin Coconut Oil is especially useful in fighting free-radicals, as it is unrefined and hasn’t been stripped of any of its natural components.
• Tocopherol (Vitamin E): A major anti-oxidant (slows cellular aging due to oxidation); prevents the damaging effects of free radicals found in pollution and ultraviolet light and helps maintain the skin’s natural oil balance.
• Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Oleoresin: helps strengthen capillaries and has a rejuvenating effect. Also used as a natural preservative.
• Azadirachta indica (Neem) Oil: Reduces dryness and irritation. Also used as an antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and antiseptic agent in skin care.
