• What does The Model Brow® Specialist training consist of?
Training for the Model Brow® Specialist is comprised of several components. Online text reading, homework assignments and optional extra curriculum.
- Text-based lessons delivered through the website. Just read each Chapter as you go.
- Homework that helps you develop your professional skills and techniques.
- Extra Credit gives extra fun reading material and websites that you can use to enhance your learning experience.
- Final Certification Exam that must be passed before becoming a Certified Model Brow® Specialist.
• I’m thinking about becoming a Certified Model Brow® Specialist. How do I know if I have what it takes?
Elke has designed a step-by-step, easy to understand course layout, so that you can enhance and sharpen your skills at any stage of your career. Though we’ve discovered that students fresh out of beauty school absorbed the knowledge faster, the whole concept is for a Licensed Beauty Professional to quickly and easily understand Elke’s unique method and technique.
To gain certification, the required homework assignments must be ‘turned in’ and are graded personally by Elke before one can move on to the next level. Therefore, no student becomes certified without Elke’s personal attention and quality assurance. The student will confidently be able to offer the exclusive service, both professionally and technically to their clients.
•Does the program work on a Mac or a PC?
Both. All the lessons and learning material are done directly through your web browser. So if you’re able to read this, you’re able to complete the course. A complete PDF file is also available to download of each chapter to read and study offline as well.
• What materials are required?
An email address is needed to email assignments directly to Elke. Also, to complete the training, proof of technique is required via photos, so a willing model(s) or client(s) is also needed.
• What else is needed?
Due to the intense training provided by Elke, a Confidentiality Agreement via our Application Form must be agreed to before submitting payment. This will permit the newly certified specialist the ability to offer the Trademarked Model Brow® Service. The Model Brow Service is only obtainable by Certified Model Brow® Specialists who carry The Model Brow® Line at their salon or spa. This provision is to ensure that only trained and certified Licensed Professionals are providing and selling the Model Brow Experience, from service to product. Only those who have completed the entire training course and received their Model Brow Products and will receive their Certification. Certified Specialists are listed on the National Directory.
